Spark plug Autolite or Denso
I've been running Denso (5346) IKH24 Iridium gapped .024 on APR stg1 for 48k miles and most recently on stg 2 with no issues.
Autolite a103 gapped to .055" will give you about a 5hp increase and last around 30,000 miles
Denso TT iridium are so far the best ones I’ve tried in terms of performance
if you want some good plugs, get some denso IKH24, they are 1 step cooler than stock plugs.. I change mine out every 20k miles..
IKH 24 plugs with stock coils work just fine. No cutout, rough idle or misfire.
Replaced stock with denso ihk24.
Just an update for you and a PSA: CHECK YOUR SPARK PLUG GAP ON NEW PLUGS. I too trusted that the iridium plugs that I just bought should've been pre-gapped, but I noticed immediately after a tune-up my gas mileage went to piss. Popped the plugs back out and sure enough each one was well over 1mm .
Porcelain tip fell off one Denso spark plug in cylinder 1. Doing less the 200km distance. Motor is f@$ked.
I’d never put autolites in a Jeep, send em back and get champions or NGK depending on year and model.
I quit using autolite plugs somewhere between 1995 and 2000, got tired of all the comebacks.
