Spark plug Bosch or NGK
I've run BKR7Es for years with zero issues. I've tried other plugs and I always go back.
Plus they are nice BKR7EIX's (NGK Iridium 1-Step Colder than OEM) and barely have 5000-6000 miles on them, and are gapped to the recommended 0.28 of the APR tune, so there shouldnt be issues, right? As it turns out, my engine cares, A LOT.
After I was done installing the new plugs and coils, I started the car and immediately noticed how much smoother the idle was. I then went for a drive and was really impressed by how much smoother and consistent the power delivery was overall, not to mention the graciously absent misfire under load.
Did this last night without any issues. The coils were in there tight but a warm engine and some tough talking got them out. I went with NGK Iridiums and the car seems to drive smoother - other than that, all is good at 60K.
I have a stack of 25+ index cards filled with notes about the care and service of the car. The factory service manual has notes and highlighted areas all over it.
Ngk Platinum all day
same everything but using a C2 Motorsport Stage 1+ tune. rippin!!
I got misfires with FD5POR RS2 plugs. Almost 10000kms on Bosch f2cs this year. Been working perfect for me
I went with some NGK coppers. I dont know the exact part numbers of them but the ones I got were crap lol My MPG went down to 19 mpg.
After too many bad experiences/unhappy motors I wouldn't put bosch plugs in a lawn mower.
