Tires Continental or Triangle
I am now on a set of continental for the winter. (And they run better than the all season khumo, go figure), but I'll look for those hankook next spring!
And they fit great, just like hawkbyte and Firebyte said they would
I live in the northeast and have used the dws and the pilot sports over the years. It’s been rather mild here lately the last few years but I never had a problem with getting around in either of those tires.
I just got the Continental DWS06 plus on my M3P and I am surprised how good they are compared to the summer Pirellis that came on it. Very reasonably priced too.
I think Continental VikingContact 8 would be on par with R5s when it comes to function.
I was deciding between these same tires and I went with the dws06+ due to the fact I drive up to the mountains quite often. Have been more than impressed with their ability in every weather condition and will be getting a new set in the next couple of months.
You could definitely push the Michelin‘s harder and dry weather. They are also great in rain. But I live in Pennsylvania, so the DWS 06 are the ones for me. I don’t need to constantly be pushing my tires to the edge and with these, they definitely do have a little more give and a little more slip than the Michelin, but the amount of snow traction I get is light years ahead of the Michelin by far even though the Michelin are listed as an all season they are more of a three season tire.
I've had these for the past 3 winters. They're great.
Eu am continental winter contact, mi se par ok
I am still not impressed with these tires. I'm just about to hit 14k miles on these tires and they are some of the worst tires I've had. Definitely going to replace them before winter. We average 6-8 inches of snow every winter and these tires are like race slicks in the snow.
