Tires Cooper or Maxxis
My coopers have always worked amazingly well in the snow, and are quite affordable if timed right with rebates.
I have been buying Cooper tires for years on some of my cars so I would recommend at least looking at Cooper CS5, a good tire at a fare price
I just put Cooper Discoverer AT3 on mine and i love them. Plenty of meat on them and quiet
I ran a set of ST Maxx tires on my last 4runner and LOVED them.
Maxxis DTH come in 2.3! But I find the 2.1's to be bouncy enough - havent tried 2.3.
I have the cooper discoverer atw tires on my truck. They are excellent and have 80k tread warranty. They are not quite as good stopping as the Michelin xice tires on my wife's vehicle but miles better than mud and snow tires people drive around with here in the winter.
I can’t speak for the Falken tires but I have Cooper Discoverer A/T’s and they’re amazing! had em for a year now and they still look brand new
All-season Cooper CS5 Ultra in 225/45-17 work great in wet, comfy with poopy handling. Here on 7.5" wide wheels.
For Maxxis exo I couldn't go below 25 in the rear without bashing my rim and getting flats.
Two and a half winters. Rotated twice. All four tires are ruined. I would have never noticed it if I hadn't had seen that shiny upper control arm.
