Tires DUNLOP or Uniroyal
in the end I ended up installing the stock tires Dunlop AT22 which are the best
I'm planning to try the Dunlop Ensave in 195/65R15 because its the only eco focused tire in that size I can find that weighs under 17lbs.
The stock dunlops are actually a pretty good summer tire, they just wear fast, but their grip in the dry once they warm up is pretty good.
I’ve had these tires on my Subaru for the past five years and they’ve been great. 60k on them and still some life left.
Dunlop Q5‘s love my last one, Never had a problem with it,
I am back to the Bridgestone BATTLAX T31(t) after a year on Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart III.
The Dunlop Sportmax was quite noisy, which I did not like.
My Dunlop Sport Maxx’s are pretty cracked, my Skoda can out accelerate a Miat with them
Yes.... they suck a** in the snow. I got stock in a parking lot in my 17 on the stock Sport Maxx's. Also crab-walking from a traffic light.
For those who wonder, don’t!! I thought they would be all season, not shit ass summer road tires. Well… 0 control with \~ 1” of snow. Thankfully < 15mph but even ABS couldn’t fire or work. $3k cost for blizzaks, rims and $1000 deductible later.
The 18 inch wheels with low profile tires are rough, loud, and I've had 2 flats. The stock dunlop tires suck.
