Tires Goodyear or Nokia
A set of good years lasts me around 50k miles. I replace at 4/32nds if it is winter/almost winter. If it’s summer I put it off until 2/32nds.
I use Nokian Hakkepellitas for Calgary winters. They’ll do what you need in Toronto.
I run Nokian R5 SUV on my b85 sq5 and they're really, really good.
I have nokian on the car and its been fantastic, been using nokians for ages for winter tires.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta is your best answer. These tires run toe to toe with everything else available on snow and ice acceleration and handling and beat everything else on stopping ability on snow and ice.
I have a set on my S4 and they're the best winter tire I've owned after having had xIces, SottoZeros and studded WeatherMasters
In November I bought a set of Goodyear weather ready tires for my 2022 Camry hybrid. The thing is I had a large drop in mpg when I switched. I had Firestone all season tires before with an average mpg of 48. After the switch I’m hovering around 34-36.
17 years ago (approx) got Nokian Hakkpellita P2s winter tires - only good for #1 season 6k miles I think - #2 the tires were notably poorer (no good)
I had Nokian Black as summer tires, very hard, quite uncomfortable.
