I have only ever used the Ventus V12 Evo2 tires. They were the exact opposite - tread lasted far longer than I expected. Had to replace them due to age, not mileage / tread.
I have 4 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 on one of my cars and they are awesome tires. They are now nearing 2 years old and have done over 40k Km on them and they still have at least 30% thread left before hitting the thread marker.
I love the Hankook Dyanpro AT-M's on my 4Runner, they might be what you're looking for but there are several good options out there. They've been on my truck for 12,000 miles and as of last week they all had 7/32" tread left so they should last a while. Noise levels and wet/snow traction is very good as well.
I have a set on my cummins, 30k miles and still a lot of life, great in snow, on road, light trail use. The treads don't clear as easy as I would like.
Have had them on my 80 LC in Austin for almost 2 years. Holding up well.
They are a great winter tire I run them on my yj and I’ve been through over 3 feet to snow with them on but they tend to clog up in thick mud
I have these tires on my xj and I love them. Really good on and off road, however are a softer tire than the ko2 so might not get as much life out of them.
Hankook’s VentusPrime 3 is a solid tyre and won’t break the bank. When my mother was changing away from her Goodyear EG’s like you have at the minute, they’re what I stuck on for her. Solid tyre with solid reviews behind it.
I have them on my Crosstrek. Love them, but I'm hindsight I wouldn't went with ko2s because of handling in heavy snow
I am still kind of unhappy with Hankook and I'll probably avoid this brand in future. That said, it looks like my Hankook tires with 60k treadwear warranty were worn literally to ground in less than 25k miles in 3 years.
