Tires Hankook or Pirelli
The PIRELLI P ZERO AS PLUS 3 XL is on my car. They had good reviews on TireRack, and so far, they have had no issues. I have driven 2000 miles on them, which are good on dry and wet. Grips well on the mountain roads have yet to take them to the track or drive in the snow.
Pirellis are the best handling and performance tires I've owned BUT that soft rubber that grips the road so well, wears out fast.
45k on my ions. Probably have about 5k left. Will definitely be getting them again. They have been fantastic!
Happy to report I am now at 70,366 miles on the car, so about 28K miles have been driven on these tires. Tires are working well, with no complaints. No noise issues, they don’t seem to have gotten louder since day one. Grip is fine. Most important, unlike my OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires… I’ve had no sidewall bubbles or other issues. I highly recommend these Hankook tires.
I use these and they work. As my service advisor says, they are aggressive tires.
Buy PIRELLI ... super comfortable and very very good tires - I've been trying several in 30 years of driving and nothing come close...
It's hard to beat the Hankook iPike. I've run them on every vehicle I've ever had...only time I've been disappointed is when I tried a different tire.
Still love my 2020 SE except original Hankook tires. They are wearing already at low mileage 23K.
Welcome to Hankook on the CRV. Mine had barely 20k and they were toast. Called a tire shop and started to tell them my story and before I could finish they interrupted me and said, “let me guess. Hankook?” Apparently they are known for this. Never again will I buy a car with Hankook tires and never will I ever buy them as replacements. Total garbage.
It's a shame that Formula E still uses Hankook tires. Seriously limits the effectiveness of the cars, especially in 'attack mode'
