Tires Kumho or Nokia
They handle rain and snow pretty well... The worst was the ice storm down in Vancouver back in February. They did amazingly well for not being true snow tires and without studs
Not low grip but sticky in yet durable and fairly quick is the Kumho Ecsta V730.
Shit for we weather tough, to be fair
If you’re looking for a budget friendly option Nokian sells an all weather time you can drive year round the WRG4 which from my experience is better than the budget winter tires in terms of grip. Had them on my car for almost 5 years now and they’re still great
We went with Kumho Crugen tires when it was time to replace the stock Yokohama Geolanders. Its probably been 20K miles and they have been great. Quiet and the car handles the same.
I would recommend the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 if you could get them.
I just put the studded Hakka 10 on my wife’s new Durango and will never go back. I have the R5 on my car and it’s no comparison to the studded 10s.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta's are the best of the best. You can get both studded and non-studded. You likely don't need the studs, but they certainly help on early morning descents down i70 into Silverthorne.
I just put on Kumho RoadVenture AT and have had no complaints. CO just got hit with a pretty good snow storm (as least 6 inches) last week and they did great driving in it.
I heard Kumho don't last very long, but are good for the first 10,000 miles and not good at all by 30,000 miles.
Will NEVER buy Nokian tires. They crack on the sides and they don't stand behind them.
