Tires Maxxis or Sailun
Rekon for the rear - Forecaster for the front. Super light - super fast - and good for all scenarios other than wet mud.
My favorite trail bike combo right now is a DHR2 front and dissector rear but I’m considering switching to rekon rear.
Maxxis Razr ATs. They handle great and served me well in winter driving.
i have sailun on my mirage hb stock ang sizes lahat. ok naman kung san san na nakapunta.
I have them on my '17 Bolt. They are definitely quieter than the previous tires. They seem to be holding up well, and I love hearing the tires chirp for traction when flogging it a 30 MPH!
Sailun tires are pretty good in general for being off brand. My Jetta had them when I bought it — I put about 45k miles on them before they wore out. And during that time I hit a pothole hard enough to bend the wheel — but the tire survived.
I was skeptical at first because they were so cheap. But after I did a cross-Canada trip on them I was so impressed by them. They survived nasty potholes. I didn't notice any range loss. Very quiet as well. The grip in wet conditions were far better.
Maxxis tires give 40% on a $120 MSRP - so $48. Seems like a good gig for the retailer. However...Maxxis is the worst line to carry.
Sailun is far from the best, but better than most 3PMS all-seasons.
I put some cheap all seasons on my Fiesta ST (sailuns) and they were fine until it snowed and it was like I was trying to drive on summer tires in winter. Then they couldn't handle a single pothole, within a year I tossed the whole set because I blew one out and saw I had a bubble in two other tires on the insides from potholes.
