Tires MICHELIN or Hankook
I have had them for 3 winters on a Corolla and found them very good for snow, and decent for ice albeit not quite as good as Blizzaks or Hakkapellitas on ice. They ride quietly and have decent tread wear ratings.
After 22,000 miles, my stock Pirelli’s were down to 2/32” and desperately needed to be replaced. I ordered the Hankooks based on a recommendation from a user here from SimpleTire. They already feel 1000x better than the worn ones they replaced. They also look a little more rugged than the Pirellis and I really like the overall look of them on the Riv.
Michelin x-ice my vote……had them on my Accord and were great on snow and ice.
I’ve been running Michelin X Ice for years. Last car ran them for 4 winters without issue before I sold it.
I have the comfort suspension on my 2023 LR Y and I just changed tires on my Induction 20\u201d. The new tires have made a noticeable improvement so there\u2019s definitely an opportunity to improve ride quality through tire swap alone. Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, 275 /40 R20.
Yup. Michelin Anakee Wild. Gotta stud them yourself but they're 3PMSF
I have Michelin Crossclimate 2's in the winter. On those days, I don't have to worry about the tires running or wearing like shit. I could leave them on year round if I wanted, but they are a little squishy and squirrely. And, while full bore winters they are not, they're 3 peak rated and still pretty damn good. I could swear they don't wear at all either.
Hankook R-S4 if you aren't chasing 10ths because they grip well and wear like iron. They just don't grip quite as well as the rest of the "Super200" autocross tires.
I am at 25k in 13 months with 4/32 on my rear and 6/32 on the fronts of my Y Performance (can’t rotate due to staggered wheels). I have the Hankook Ion Evo AS suv tires. Those only start at 8.5/32 new from Tesla vs 10/32 for the replacement version. Not bad, if I was able to rotate I would have averaged 3.5/32 of wear over 25k miles. They still have pretty good traction, was able to fully launch in the recent nor’easter storm with slippage only on painted lines (testing to see how traction is in full rain, pretty impressive). But, there are now turns or on/off ramps that the rear wants to step out when applying a little more power than I should, was able to practically drift it around a ramp during the same storm.
Od svih koje sam imao, Alpin 5 je bila najgora.
