Tires MICHELIN or Hifly
replaced with a set of Michelin crossclimate 2's, road noise went wayyyy down, traction went wayyyy up, and I've never looked back.
We bought Michelin WeatherGuards last year and we are really happy with them. We live in the mountains, my wife’s a nurse, they were safe on snow, ice and in rain.
Michelin Cross Climate 2 is a great balance of winter traction and summer performance.
Agree on 18s with x-ice tires. I have found that they have done better with spirited driving when there’s no snow on the ground (compared to blizzaks from years ago) and have served me well on snow covered roads
I switched mine to Michelin’s on delivery in my ‘24 Apex and completed 10.5K kms. Still feels and looks brand new.
I have 18" Pretoria's with Michelin X Ice tires, I have used the tires on a variety of vehicles over many challenging winters, never any issues with them.
Ich fahre aktuell die Michelin Cross Climate 2, schön leise und super bei Sonne, Regen und Schnee, wobei ich nicht in die Apen damit fahre.
Better tyres. They came with ones used on the Prius, I swapped to the Michelin PS4 and it's made it feel a lot better. You can throw it around a bit more before it starts to slide.
I ran them for a decade on my old M135i. They’re great tyres, if a little compromised compared to the newer generation. They’re not great in the wet or cold, and the performance does start to drop off before you get to the legal tread depth minimum.
I bought a set of Michelins for my F250 several years ago because they were the “best”. The truck had a vibration after the new tires were installed but since they were Michelins I didn’t even think it was a tire issue. All four tires were out of round. ALL FOUR.
