Tires MICHELIN or VITOUR
CC2 is an amazing tire. Snow fall from a single storm can be measured in several inches to a couple of feet. My wife’s Cayenne is an absolute monster in these conditions with the Michelins. She runs them all year and this will be the 3rd winter on the same set, with amazing wear.
I absolutely love the Cross Climates. Their handling in rain and snow is very good, and they just seem to ride more comfortably than the Defenders ever did. They are also more quiet. FWIW I’ve only had my Cross Climates for one winter here in MD.
Cross climate 2s are amazing. Won’t buy anything else after owning them tbh for year round use.
CC2 is the best upper Midwest all season tire. Nothing else is even close.
CC2’s carried me through last winter. Snow, icy roads no problems. I was able to rescue my son in a snowstorm when he slid off the road. 4-6” of unplowed snow and my CR-V handled it like a champ.
I replaced Defenders with CC2s on an Explorer and they’re a much better tire for New England weather.
Just put on some crossclimates, seem really good the rain so far
They are the best all season’s/all weathers I have ever had. Will be getting another set on our other car soon.
We put Pilot Sport EV All Seasons on our 2024 M60 with 22s. They’ve been fine so far, a little more noisy than stock but good in the wet.
I bought a set of Michelins for my F250 several years ago because they were the “best”. The truck had a vibration after the new tires were installed but since they were Michelins I didn’t even think it was a tire issue. All four tires were out of round. ALL FOUR.
