Tires YOKOHAMA or NITTO
I replaced my OEM Falkein ZIEX tires at exactly 21k miles with some Yokohama Geolandar X-CV's. The new GX's seem to ride fine on them so for my experience with 400 miles on the Geolandars, they have improved ride quality and lowered perceived road noise.
Get some Yokohama Geolander CV4s tires and never have to worry about traction on snow and ice or wearing out winter tires. Best All weather tires you can buy and they’re decent off road. Light weight too. 60k tread wear warranty. I got them on a CX-5 and it’s unstoppable in snow.
2022 Wilderness OB that came with Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 (very good tires--I ordered my car online and it was delivered new) and I just replaced them at 52,000 as they were getting thin.
Nitto Terra Grapplers. Horrible in the rain is an understatement. They wore pretty fast as well.
I'm running Wildpeak AT4Ws now and they've great so far. Haven't had any problems on wet roads, handled the foot of snow and ice my area got recently just fine. Pretty decent off road as well.
I’m really happy with their snow performance (geolanders) after 18k miles in all seasons.
So far no issues with these tires at 12k, on my '24 OB. I live in the Bay Area (CA) and go to Tahoe frequently in the winter, the tires are OK in snow but not so bad that I'm gonna upgrade before they're due. They've been fine in pouring rain too.
So far my 2025 Onyx tires have been through crazy heavy rain, snow/ice, and have been great. Also road noise is great.
I’ve got the RG and can confirm comparatively quiet on freeway and not good in the snow or even rain slick slick slick.
Avoid the nitto grapplers. They’re horrible on wet pavement especially when it begins to drizzle.
the Nitto Grapplers are horrible on wet pavement. Too bad, because they worked well for me otherwise.
