BFGoodrich Tires

Stock Pirellis were getting a little low after about 35,000 miles and decided to upgrade a bit. Went with KO2s 245/65/17. Love the fitment even more. They’re slightly wider than the stock 225s. Make a huge difference off-road and feels more like a truck when driving.

Pros: huge difference off-road
Cons: wore out pretty quick
Mileage: 35000 km

Vredestein Tires

I know [these](https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Vredestein&tireModel=Wintrac+Pro%2B&partnum=54VR9WTPPXL&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2025&autoModel=Mustang+GT&autoModClar=255%2F40-19) aren't the cheapest thing out there but I have them on my ‘25 GT and they are great in the snow. Haven't had 1 issue since I put them on the beginning of November.

Pros: great in the snow

OEM FORD Steering rack

When my power steering went out i chose a remanufactured steering rack for my 2015 fusion se 2.0 it was 1100 and the labor and tax brought it up to 1800ish. This is in New Jersey.

Cons: expensive labor and tax
Vehicle: Ford Fusion

Falken Tires

I’m a little disappointed in the Mav (FWD hybrid) snow performance. Even got real nice Falken Wildpeak AT3 all-terrains in August since the factory continentals were dogshit. It gets by alright enough but still slips on acceleration. A lot.

Cons: slips on acceleration

Motorcraft Oil filter

I'm not sure if the 2008 v6s still had plastic tensioners, but I know my 2004 4.0 did. I had to have it replaced at one point. Unfortunately with the 4.0 engine, removing timing covers with the engine still in the truck is kind of difficult and a shop might want to pull it to do this kind of work. I believe that's what they did on mine. Using motorcraft oil filters could help, but it didn't make mine go away, so I eventually had it replaced.

Cons: didn't solve issue
Vehicle: Ford Ranger
