I have Michelin CrossClimate 2 on my civic and it does pretty well in the snow (within reason)
Reviews of spare parts for Honda
I put Falken Aklimate's on my Honda Fit and it was night and day in the snow, they're also quieter in the summer.
Crossclimate 2 on 2016 Civic over 70k miles on them and still good (per Costco, I still have about 15020K miles on them). They are very good on water and ok in snow. HOWEVER they become noisier as they age.
engine and cabin air filters (Honda)
It's fine. I just grab Fram TGs for ours as they're common and good for two OCIs and I never need a wrench. Rated at 15k minimum and I put 13k on them and Blackstone says I'm good.
Same, got weathertechs for my CRZ and never looked back. They match the interior plastics perfectly and help keep the carpets underneath pristine.
I typically buy OEM filters from the maintenance website section for dreamshop.honda.com
I set my order to be picked up at the dealer months prior to any oil changes. The filter is always blue.
I tried a Bosch reman from Rockauto on my Civic. Lasted about two years then the rear bearing starting squeaking.
I replaced the battery on my wives 2009 honda accord. Started her up and it made this awful sound the second the AC kicked on. Bogged down the engine and made it run rough. It has never had AC issues until now and I'm sure it's coincidence with the battery changeout.
They did Honda City "Sports" and gave CVT for crying out loud.
