BFGoodrich Tires

Go with BF Goodrich Comp-2's. I've had a set for over 4 years and over 50K miles. They are nearing the end of their life but still very sticky even in the wet.

Pros: very sticky even wet
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 80000 km

MICHELIN Tires
Hernandezsrt
Rating 5.0
  • Grip:
  • Noise:

Recently got Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons. I gotta say, I have been super impressed with the extra confidence the tires have given me. They are a little quieter than the OEM yokos, but from what I understand the Yokos were horrible with noise

Pros: extra confidence, quieter
Cons: Yokos horrible with noise
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Continental Tires

I had these installed on my 2016 GT last April:

Continental Extreme Contact DWS06

I don’t do much driving anymore (COVID work from home plus I drive my Miata when the weather is good) but over approx 10k miles I’ve been perfectly happy with them.

Pros: perfectly happy
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 16000 km

Brembo Brake pads

4 years ago I had my daughter, before taking my 2008 Mazda 6 back to college with her, install new Brembo "OE"/standard type pad sets front and rear and new Brembo rotors in the front. The front pads and rotors were so thick that the caliper piston cups had to be ENTIRELY retracted into the pistons to fit over them. After completion of the job and the performance of the pad/rotor break-in procedure, the already capable car was turned into a braking performance monster. It was like if you depressed the brake pedal a millimeter the car would start to decelerate markedly! And rapid stops were unbelievable quick and drama free. So I absolutely recommend Brembo products (have installed Brembo pads on 2 SUVs as well) and have always been impressed with the results!!

Pros: braking performance monster, quick stops, drama free
Cons: slight squeal on light braking
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 50000 km

OEM Mazda Wiper blades
soiboughtafarm
Rating 5.0
  • Wipe quality:
  • Streaks/chatter:

I have started buying my wipers from the dealership. Fist they are actually cheaper then most of the brands at the corner car store. Secondly, they work great. My Mazda6 blades are simply the best.

Pros: cheaper, work great, best performance
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Falken Tires

Rating 5.0
  • Noise:
  • Ride comfort:

Check out the Falken ZIEX ZE100 A/S. Mazda made these standard on some Mazda6 trim levels. Traded my 2016 6 in for a 2018 6 and it had these. Felt like the car was riding on a layer of marshmallows. Super quiet.

Pros: super quiet, smooth ride
Vehicle: Mazda 6

OEM Mazda Brake discs

Only reason I got these rotors for my 6 was because my stock rotors were warped as shit and have been shaved multiple times. They look great and perform decently, no problems so far.

Pros: look great, perform decently
Cons: stock rotors warped
Vehicle: Mazda 6

OEM Mazda Brake pads

Mazda brakes are notoriously shit. They’re garbage. Buy a set of PowerStop brakes and be done with it. They’re far superior to the Mazda brakes. Go on any forum and you’ll see countless people having the same issue as you. New brakes between 15-20,000 miles. Me included. I’ve owned 2 6s from new. Both needed brakes around 20,000 miles. Both times I put on PowerStops and never had another issue.

Pros: PowerStop superior, no more issues
Cons: Mazda brakes garbage
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 20000 km
