I replaced all the spark plugs as well as the four ignition coils (new Bosch coils). After repair, the car runs perfectly and I no longer have any hiccups while driving.
Reviews of spare parts for Mercedes
Suspension kit: lowering, Bilstein shock absorbers, negative camber on all wheels
After replacing the brakes with Bosch and tires with Michelin CrossClimate, over 30k miles later and brakes have at least another 50-60k life left, and tires too, since they have 80k miles warranty.
I had same problem with my 2012 E350 4matic. After clearing sunroof drain holes,I still had the problem. It turned out to be the windshield sealant right along the top edge of glass. I masked off top edge of windshield glass and edge of car roof and tooled in Permatex Windshield Silicone Sealant. It is a more fluid, liquidy version of silicone. It flows into crevises. No more problems the past 5 years.
I swap my tires for Michelin X-ICE. I keep chains in my cargo box but have never needed them.
For my Mercedes sprinter I had the same battery in it for 10 years. I went and bought it at the dealership. Since the last one lasted 10 years. I shouldn’t have a problem with it.
The carburetor leaks some fuel into the intake, I'm assuming something is leaking or adjusted wrong and it floods the engine. If it's been sitting for a week or longer it starts instantly, also starts very well soon after driving while it's still warm.
Saw the distributor was pitted and corrided, replaced cap and rotor arm with beru new ones. It worked ! for about 15 minutes, next day no start.
I had issues with the Bosch wipers a few years ago on my former MB.
I’ll never buy another set of hankook as long as I live. I bought some for my Mercedes when I had that, they wore out in 5000 miles, then they fought me on the tread wear warranty to the point that I just put on a different set of tires and moved on with my life.
