I blew my stock one around 60,000km, then the STI replacement around 100,000km. Fixed the issue with a Mishimoto aluminum rad.
Reviews of spare parts for Subaru
I went this route last winter. Got rid of the awful factory suspension and went with GTWORX set up, it includes the Bilstein struts and RaceComp springs. The car is a lot more planted than before. I would say it's the best upgrade you can do, coming from stock, so well worth the $$
I went through a lot of different oils in my old highly modified WRX, found this to run this to run the smoothest also no metal dust when I drain the oil on the magnetic sump plug.
I have a 2017 Subaru Forester Touring, I use Subaru OEM or Bosch. I think both brands are very good wiper blades.
Bosch ICONs here too (and the Bosch Rear Wiper blade). Work amazingly well. I think better than OEM ever did in my memory.
I put some Bosch ICONs on my Forester on 10/2/2017 and they're still working perfectly. I'm amazed.
I run RainX on my Forester and they've done really well
I have a 2017 BRZ with the Performance package 34k miles. Brembo's squeal when slowing down at around 5-15mph. The dealership can't figure out why it's squealing. I found some forums where brake squeals are normal for Brembo.
We had the starter die long before the recalls and paid out of pocket and then had to fight with Subaru for some of our money after the recall came out. 3 years later, here we are again with a dead car and I think it is the starter as it is acting the same way it did last time. We replaced it with an OEM starter so I am now wondering if that was part of the batch that was recalled? I'm honestly so sick of this car not starting when we need it to
Same! This was after they quoted me over the phone that it would be $800. Fuck the dealership. Try to find you a good, honest mechanic. When you do, hold on to them tight and never let go.
Ended up paying $1,600 for all 4 pads and rotors on my 2016 STI.
