I used anchor mounts for my Forester definitely a solid option.
Reviews of spare parts for Subaru Forester
I ran a XADO chemical group flush in my oil and I think it quieted down my old motor with 220k on the clock.
I’ve had a Bosch on the driver’s side and the passenger and rear from that set on for almost a year now and they’re working just fine.
my 2011 was consuming 1L every 1600km, especially on highway / hilly drives. it got a new short block / rings replaced at 90k under warranty, and it still consumes 1/2L. i recently switched over to Valvoline R&P, but am only on my second oil change with the stuff. on a long, hot, mountainous 8000km roadtrip last month it only consumed 1/3L per 1600km. i wasn’t expecting immediate results from R&P, so holding out hope that consumption continues to drop.
In the last year I bought a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness and people flash their high beams at me all the time. I’m sure they are always quite shocked when I flash them back and they realize it’s just my normal headlights.
I replaced it with a OEM style koyorad I found for $130 and corrected the radiator caps and my temps have been perfect all summer. It is a bitch to burp the coolant so I recommend buying the spill-free funnel.
Yeah? I’ve been using Subaru oem oil in my 260kmile 2015 forester. It only burns a little.
The glass quality on Subaru Forester since 2014+ is a shit!.... Subaru windshields are shit.
I had one not a week after I bought my 2022 - it seems like Subaru's windshields like to crack and I don't want to be constantly replacing windshields.
I’ve had my 2015 for just under a year and I’ve had a chip filled and then the whole windshield replaced due to another unrelated crack I got driving on a freeway on ramp
