Brake pads - $90 for parts
Reviews of spare parts for Toyota 4runner
Bought some TYC replacements for my 4th gen a few years back. They’ve held up well
TYCs still rocking without any moisture two years later.
I've had mine for about 50k miles. Still at about 1/4 tread. I run them in a 4runner. Wet traction (comparing thesebto Wildpeaks) isn't the best but they do great off-road. Gas mileage hasn't been affected either due to how light they are. Overall, I've been happy with them.
I have these on my 4runner (265/70/17), I bought it with them on there so I'm not sure the exact mileage, but im happy with them. Work good on my red clay dirt road when it's rained.
I have an 02 4runner with 289,500 miles. I've had it for the last 106,000. Replaced the timing belt/ water pump twice. Replaced spark plugs twice. New brakes a few times.
I have them on my 23 Limited OR. I replaced my stock ones with these 35x11.50R20 D rated tires immediately. They ride great and are quiet. Perform well both on and off-road.
I have had these tires on a 4Runner as well. They are my go to now over BFG AT which I ran on many vehicles.
I have 15k on them and they show very little wear at all.
A few thousand miles later and I started to noticed a some shaking in the steering wheel when braking in the higher speeds (60-80mph). I called a few shops in my area that were highly recommend on both here Reddit, yelp, and the forums. Most pointed to warped rotors. One shop says to have the rotors machined and another says to have the completely replaced. What are your guy’s thoughts on having them machined?
factory FOX shocks knocked over road bumps (valving issue - needed to be replaced)
Bought these Dobinson shocks and coils in October, photos are in May with service records indicating only 2,000 km of driving! Within 5 months these are looking like they wont last 2 years.
