Camry or corolla hybrids. I have cameys in my fleet that have done half a million KMs needing nothing more than oil, filters, tyres and a single set of brake pads
Reviews of spare parts for Toyota
The oil is 0W-16, any major brand will do, and the OEM filter is 90915-YZZN1 which you can find both online. There's an aluminum gasket for the drain plug that you should be changing each time too.
Make sure it's an OEM Toyota part, the aftermarket ones have the weep hole offset so it doesn't line up perfectly and it'll overheat every time
Prius where road noise is the main concern, the Continental TrueContact Tour is usually the quieter of the two it rides softer and stays quiet even as it wears.
Bf Goodrich KO2 ????
Recently fitted these with no complaints at all, very happy with them so far!
Just had an Exedy stage 1 kit installed on my GR86 a couple weeks ago, had the same concerns as well. It's definitely been less noticable as I've run through the break-in period, though it was happening fairly often the first few days. General consensus from what I could find is that it happens between 2000-3000 RPM, which is exactly what I've noticed driving my car.
I drive an older car, 1998 toyota supra, low to the ground so my eyes are just about even with most of the SUVs running around my area. This is on me, I chose to drive this car. However, the change in the past 10 years has taken it from mildly annoying to downright blinding.
Did an oil change on my dad's Yaris last year on the 1NZ-FE motor. Everything went well until I got to the oil filter. My dumbass confused clockwise and counterclockwise. So instead of losing it I was basically over tightening it to the point it got stuck.
The springs were all out of place and one was upside down lol. The rear shocks were blown, the clutch was a warn out and poorly installed aggressive aftermarket unit, this was by far the worst part of the car. The engine has aftermarket performance cams with adjustable cam gears that were WAY off. The #4 cylinder had basically no compression as a result of an extremely gunked up intake valve. The ignition timing was wrong, and the idle was too high. The diff had horrendous lash, motor and trans mounts were shot, and a bunch of other small things here and there.
I've only had the car for a little over 2 weeks now and everything listed above has been fixed. As a result the car is actually realy enjoable now! Total night and day difference. Its at least doubled in power, the suspension doesn't bounce or rub, and the clutch is easy and smooth now. There's still a lot more to do but so far I've been loving daily driving the car!
