DIYer advice: when I go on RockAuto's website, I see that Bosch offers 2 different starter motors: one for the manual, with 0.8 kW, and one for the automatic, with 1.0kW (click on the Info buttons for that information).
Reviews of spare parts for Toyota
Been using my Vredstein HiTracs on my 2018 Rav4 for about 4 years now. I was very pleased with the overall performance of the Vreidsteins especially when they were new, handling was fairly confidence inspiring for what my car is, OK comfort, a bit noisy on the highway but all around were a worthwhile purchase for my needs.
Recently, I bought a pair of Denso wipers for my Toyota, and I’m surprised by their build quality.
Had a set on my 2020 Highlander Hybrid. Put about 45k on them with no problems. We have crappy pothole roads and for the beating they took, they held up great. Just purchased again for a passenger car.
bilsteins have better road manners had them on my fj cruiser.
Did the same to my old 09 OR as well as my ‘21.
These are the identical shocks that Toyota uses for their wildly expensive TRD Lift Kit . I kept the stock springs and set the height for the 2/1 lift level giving the same result as Toyotas kit would . After a front end alignment , I had zero issues with any safety systems/calibration and the ride has been fine since.
I've used ATE for 15 years and never boiled it at autoX.
In my experience, Billstein shocks will not appreciably improve ride quality. They will, however, improve handling.
Don’t get KYB I got them on my Camry and they didn’t last long. Just get the factory struts IMO.
I bought a brand new 2003 Toyota tundra TRD Pro with four 285/65- 18 tires and they are completely spent after 27,000 MI. These tires are rated for $40 to 50,000 mi.... I would never buy these tires again
