I just replaced both filters on my 2010 Corolla, got them at Autozone and it took me about 5 min total. STP is good for both…no need to go OEM.
I got better results in Bosch in my Corolla than RainX
Man I love my old Corolla. $20 for front brake pads and a half hour of relaxing wrenching to do the job.
I’d recommend going by a local Toyota dealer parts department and getting an OEM replacement. It’s more pricey than aftermarket but… it’ll last as long as the original Toyota alternator did.
UPDATE: owners manual calls for replacement around 120k so I'm not that far behind i guess. Still went out and bought 4 new plugs and installed them. $80 at the dealer
Noticed before the LTFT was -6% and now its back to 0%.
I've had my 2013, 89,000 miles, which isn't *that* old but still, and have had zero mechanical problems. Only maintenance and expected repairs like brake pads or air filters.
On my 2010 Corolla I replaced it with a Duralast one and it lasted a couple months, then I replaced it with a Denso one and haven't thought about it since. Cars got almost 250k miles on it.
That is what I am running in this 1996 Corolla and my gas Mileage is better than ever! Made a huge difference in power .
For summer, I am still using the stock Dunlop Enasaves. They are quiet and efficient generally, but make a lot of noise in the corners.
I just made a key to a 22 toyota corolla cross with 9200 miles on it and the head gasket was blown, was at an auto auction, the wreck wasnt that bad at all I was really surprised, I've made keys to 10x worse and didnt burn coolant lol
