These were on my R32 (as shown) and only saw 5-6k on the roads, and were stored winters. That said, tires are more of a gimme than anything else. With the off camber/toe wear from a substantially lowered R you lose a lot of inner tread.
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
I'm kinda partial to Meyle plated rotors. They're inexpensive, high quality, and appear to be wearing well on my 97 Jetta GT (Corrodo G60 11.0" front calipers and rotors).
XYG is either the last one i had, or this one. lol. can't remember...both of which though looked/fit perfectly fine.
Sekurit is OEM replacement. I just got a new windshield in my Jetta made by them.

I recommend 5W40 Castrol Syntec! Here's why: Smaller numbers = thinner oil. The "W" means "Winter" - or the viscosity of the oil when the engine is cranking, and first warming up. The 5W oil is very thin when cold. The engine will crank faster, the pump primes better. The hydraulic lifters in your 16v will fill up and follow the camshaft better and with less noise. When you are at operating temperature, the 40 weight oil will give you the protection that a VW engine needs.

Bought this kit for my 337... after the slave cylinder went on it. Thumbs up on the kit overall, though some slight flywheel chatter... but had new poly mount inserts done on the tranny mount and dougbone mount.
I put the M1-301 on my car Monday instead of an M1-205. It's a really tight fit, especially where it barely clears a tab on the radiator.
im glad others have had a positive experience but mine was not so good. Used one once on my old Golf and it came apart inside the housing. Wrote a letter, they said it was an isolated few that were assembled poorly. Got reimbursed and coupon for other K&N products.
