How much more effective is the gear reduction starter compared to using a MK3 starter? I'm running a mk3 8v starter in my '80 scirocco and absolutely love it. Much more effective.
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
firestone 7076 def. had mine for years and i love em. and as stated above airlift mk4 rear kit doesnt go as low.
I run Motul in my 05' GLI and its amazing. Motul doesnt break down like other oils its good stuff
i had the Firestones with AAC mounts and loved them. they would sit on tire with air still in bag and i got alot of lift
I got the plugs in just fine, and since this was the first time they had ever been changed, the originals were still there. Aside from having the Audi/ VW logos printed on the topside of the plugs' insulators, these are regular ol' NGK PZFR5D-11 plugs (stamped on the metal). The new ones I put in were pre-gapped at .040, and the old, worn ones were at .044 for the passenger-side plugs and at .043 for the driver-side plugs. I'm guessing that the elevated distance/numbers reflects natural wear and metal erosion over time.

My first set of marketed LRR tires were Michelin Energy MXV4+ on my MKIV Golf. Admittedly they were great tires in dry and wet until they had some miles on them and went to hell in a handbasket.
The oil pump pick up screen separated from the seal due to debris built up and a piece of metal from one of the chain guides got through and froze the pump gears.
