Pads: I like EBC Redstuff.
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen Tiguan
I put Brembo Sport rotors with EBC Red Stuff pads and ATE TYP200 brake fluid. Works great.
Yes, i noticed a difference, but not drastic.
Have them on my Tiguan with Zimmerman rotors, not a peep so far, excellent grip too.
Nokian WR G3. It is a all-weather tire (all-season with the mountain-snowflake for severe winter conditions). They are available in 225/45r18 It's not going to have the dry road grip of the DWS06 or A/S3+, but will easily outperform them in the winter, that we are suppose to have.
Pair those with the Eibach Pro-Kit and it'll ride like a dream, seriously  I was swapping different coilovers on my Tiguan trying to find the best setup, and just went that route (Eibach/Konis) a couple days ago....best decision ever.
I put Cinturato P7 All Season Plus's on my mother's Tiguan and overall these seem very good. They are noticeably quieter than my Michelins on coarse roads. Performance is good, but they seem to be wearing a little quicker than anticipated
Today I replaced the spark plugs with new ones PFR7S8EG VW genuine. With new plugs car runs better, but idle still wasn't good enough.
Here's a shot of my rear rotors. They both look like this. To quote my service manager "we looked at some other cars and they all look like this, so this looks like normal wear". Not buying it. My b6 passat has 180K miles and those rotors are super smooth.
I looked at the brakes on our Tiguan, and it has one disc that is notably scored, same way. We just crossed 2k miles.
