Just thought i would share this...this car has been built to make damn near zero lag and still 400whp, custom control arms and custom coil overs.... i can vouch for its good times

I have used Mobil 1 for years in Volvo diesel cars, and they are known for cylinder wall wear, of course its a VW Audi engine. With using Mobil 1 5w30 over several hundred thousand miles, I have seen zero wear and have not needed to adjust the valves once, in several engines. I am convinced it works well.
We lowered the car a bit (and cured the soft suspension issue with some bilsteins) so the rims look bigger relatively.
ipd still carries a range of OEM replacement, repair, and performance parts for these cars, including a 2130cc overbore kit, 2 different performance cams, a Weber carb conversion kit, exhaust header to fit carbed and FI cars (different intake manifolds), Bilstein shocks, and poly bushing kits.
I called IPD, a Volvo specialist here in Portland, and they sold me a direct fit, adjustable voltage regulator for my bosch alternator, now i have the voltage output set at 15.5 volts when the car is running, and yes, it helps immensely. no more slightly undercharged batteries.
The steering rack is another 100k +/- replacement item. Aftermarket/reman units are notorious crapshoots, prone to leaking, and Volvo prices are spendy.
