My Q7 with the 3.0 Superchsrged has only adjusted timing due to chain wear by a degree or two from last I checked. 8 degrees is considered immediate chain replacement, and I have 100k miles

Everything works as expected still, I swear it’s quieter on the highway now too and no leaks…obviously but look I was paranoid of anything less than a precise install.
I tested it myself on my 3.0T, pumped everything out with the extractor, then jacked the car up and pulled the plug, catching evening that drained out in a measuring cup. It had less than 1/4 cup of oil left in the pan.
Did this every oil change on my sq5. Made it 180k miles before trading it in. Works very well. That was the easiest oil change I’ve ever done. Of the 15 minutes the job takes, about 4 of those minutes is actually doing something
Definitely prefer the extractor here! So easy/clean and gets all of the oil. At least in a Q8 and b9 A4/5 it got everything
Well, I'm late to the party, my alternator failed today at 45,000ish miles. Oh, and 2 months after the warranty expired. The silver lining is that my buddy owns a shop that works on Audis.
My two biggest issues in my car is the lack of horsepower and the brakes.
Audi must have an issue with their windshield. Am on my second crack in 3 months.
My Audi s5 back then had the v8, and around 43-45000 mi I had to swap mine out
I had to replace the turbo booster 3 years ago under warranty and am now having to replace again! I only have 45,000km on the car. They have told me that I’m not driving hard enough. I drive every week to my cottage and often am in the 120-125km range, along with regular driving around town during the week.
