I put a remanufactured Autozone on mine in a pinch because that’s all the was available. Never trusted it. Replaced it about a year later with the Denso remanufactured for peace of mind.… when I took the autozone one off the bearing was squeaking pretty bad. Denso has given me zero problems, going on about 4 years.
I did the Alternator on my ES350 (same 2GRFE engine) and it sucked. It was my first major repair project and took almost all day for me.
After buying 4 reman "Dura-CRAP" alternators in less than 3 months... I cut the already bad plug pigtail off a Camry in the JY and bought it and the Denzo Alternator it had, drove the car like that for 2 more years before I parked it.
Don't buy a Remanufactured They Always Whine And Won't work the first Time Buy Them New From Denso
The next best thing for Honda is DENSO as they are the actual OEM supplier. 90% chance ur old alternator says DENSO on the side (as long as it's the original).
I’d recommend DENSO reman as they make a bunch of OEM stuff for our cars. Recently put a denso in my car after I got the pure energy brand on rock auto that failed.
I just had everything you mentioned done on my 2017 Camry. I paid about 900 but the alternator was denso which makes oem parts for Toyota.
Get it from rock auto. Remanned Denso. Been using it works good
I would go with a Denso remanufactured alternator. I've used the Advance Auto alternators in a Honda Odyssey, Lexus IS250 and my '08 TL. They all failed within 2 years. I don't think Auto Zone parts are any better than Advanced Auto's. The Denso has lasted 3 years and is still going.
