I've had my '22 FWD XLT since last June. I regularly get 36+ in summer, but only 30 in (MN) winter with snow tires.

My 2000 Ford Ranger with a 4-cylinder and manual is just about the simplest vehicle that could exist. SOHC engine, so not much that can go wrong in it. It's very satisfying to work on because you don't experience the shitty feeling of knowing you spent way longer on something than it should have taken.
I have EB AWD and haven't changed out factory tires. In southern MN live off 3 miles of dirt roads. Winter has kinda nailed us this year. Maverick handled it all like a champ.
I have the hybrid lariat and I got a set of snow tires on steelies. I have driven through slushy freezing rain/snow this winter and it didn't slide around at all.
I’ve lived in northern Colorado my whole driving life and I think the mav handles great. I still have the stock tires on and while I do drive very carefully when it’s snowy I have had almost no slipping/sliding
Focus ST: Con -Using brakes to offset torque steer a bit lame. And contributes to crazy brake dust
My windshield was cracked about 6 months into ownership. I've also had 2 other solid impacts that caused no damage, but were just as loud as the 1 that cracked it. Something about the Maverick design that attracts rocks. Lower cabin, more upright windshield, I suppose.
The windshield cracks easily. I had the same problem month in. My windshield was also on back order for 3 months the rep told me there was a lot on order and they were having a hard time keeping them on hand.
I have a shitty looking Ford Focus that I maintain myself...The alternator failed and I couldn't be bothered doing the work myself so I took it to the local dealer.
I haven't had this problem with my RX8, but I had a similar problem with my Ford. Alternator was putting out 14.4V, but I still had a light. Took it to the parts store and they hooked it up to their tester. It said the Alternator was no good.
