My windshield was cracked about 6 months into ownership. I've also had 2 other solid impacts that caused no damage, but were just as loud as the 1 that cracked it. Something about the Maverick design that attracts rocks. Lower cabin, more upright windshield, I suppose.
The windshield cracks easily. I had the same problem month in. My windshield was also on back order for 3 months the rep told me there was a lot on order and they were having a hard time keeping them on hand.
My Outer Banks I’ve had for 1 year as of this week. I replaced my windshield after 1 month for a crack and then two days later got another. I waited till I had 15 chips and cracks in it before replacing it again. Within a month had two more chips, the windshield is definitely a big problem
We are having the same issues with the windshields cracking and chipping quite easily. I wonder if Auto Manufacturer's went to a cheaper glass for cost cutting.
My 21 titanium hybrid has it but is way more noisy than I expected.
Heated Windshield Hi, had one in my Ford Scorpio some 20 years ago! Fantastic piece of kit.
I had the same issue with the oem windshield on my wife's 2014 Ford Escape. From the drivers side the blurr was so bad it made my head hurt.
