My 2010 C30 has one, on the left. As standard C30 headlights are known to be on the dim side, I generally use the fogs as well when driving at night. More light to see the suicidal deer playing chicken.

The V8s are good. I've had 2 pulleys/bearings go bad. The second failed completely, dropping the aux belt and damaging the timing cover. If you hear any weird noises from the engine bay, check your pulleys.
They're also not as bad on fuel as you'd expect. I've regularly seen 25mpg+ on a good run.
ABS modules and siren modules always fail, but are relatively cheap & easy to replace. Alternators also seem to be a weak point and are _really_ awkward to get to.
I had this issue too with my 87 245.
It simply was moisture inside the distributor cap.
It was a rainy day, I drove in a flooded street, then I stopped to check if everything was ok and I never was able to start the car again until I checked inside the distributor cap m. It was full of condensed water and the copper contacts were oxidated.
My old Volvo S60 just had new discs and pads all round (did them with a friend)... under £250, and that included a caliper.
Had ignition coils & AC/Radiator fan unit replaced aside from regular maintenance.
But the cabin air filter? A five step process. First step is Remove the Accelerator pedal. Even then, the old filter needs to be torn out, and the new one folded in half to fit…
Minor things like brakes, new battery and one coil pack is all.
I just had my 2015 quoted for A driver's side 'broken' blinker and headlight unit. $3.5k. wut .
Dealer replaced the blades, but it didn’t help. The replacement blade they used looks expensive, it has the washer tube built in.
Nothing on those, except the heater core, is awful to replace or maintain.
