I bought a 1992 300d back in 2021 for 3500, changed engine mounts (myself) which cost me about $50 and the ac compressor which was another $300.

Pros: cheap engine mounts
Cons: expensive ac compressor

OEM Audi Engine mount

But if you do, aside from the usual tune/intake/exhaust, I highly recommend replacing all the mounts (trans plus insert, rear subframe, rear diff and engine ones) as it got rid of a lot of driveline slop.

Pros: got rid of slop
Vehicle: Audi RS5

For the engine mounts, sadly the factory Porsche mounts are the only ones that last while also being the best at dampening vibrations.

Pros: long lasting, best vibration dampening
Vehicle: Porsche

Got the car checked, turned out there were many problems, namely the engine mounts were broken which were also one of my initial thoughts but I didn't believe that to be true.

Cons: engine mounts were broken

OEM BMW Engine mount

Only thing comes to mind is the upper engine mount. the mounts has a technical update in 2021 I believe. they were notorious to go bad because the torque b46/48 produces. The mounts on my F60 were replaced at around 32k miles before warranty went.

Pros: technical update in 2021
Cons: notorious to go bad
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 32000 km

OEM Honda Engine mount

The mileage is very suspicious honestly, there could be some rollback on it. The engine is bullet proof but the engine mounts needs replacing yearly or once every two years as part of regular maintenance (depending on running, second year is mandatory). Make sure that you look up the prices of a few of the more commonly used parts in regular service because this isn't the cheapest.

Pros: bullet proof engine
Cons: engine mounts need replacing, expensive parts
Vehicle: Hyundai i20

Lemforder Engine mount

You got the lemforder ones from FCP euro. I have them too. Fuck them. I installed 3 years ago and have been too lazy to change them out because wtf is that man right? Anyway yeah it's normal. The durometer rating is super low.

Cons: durometer rating super low
