I’m 90% sure my EGTs came with Bosch plugs, switch to NGK that are 2 steps colder for my tune haven’t had any issues with them for about 25k miles

OE plugs for this engine is NGK Laser Iridium. Hyundai/Kia usually use either Denso or NGK plugs.
I'd get OEM wires and NGK iridium OEM speck plugs.
I ended up finding a post where somebody was having a similar problem that I was and one of the top comments on that post a guy had said word for word "I hope you don't have Bosch Platinum plugs in there." I ordered NGK ZFR5N copper plugs. I just received them this morning and got work. Gapped them to 0.035. Put them in. Done. Misfire gone. Runs perfect idles like butter.
On any of the gas trucks with the "modular" engine family (4.2 V-6 and 4.6/5.4 V-8) it seems like if you use anything other than Motorcraft spark plugs and coil packs, the engine won't run right at all, no matter the brand.
I've been using beru rs7 plugs without any issues.
Went with the fancy ngk plugs. A man of culture. I put those in my Volvo and they say it's heresy.
I recently just replaced my spark plugs they were past due. So I bought the OE Bosch 9683. The engine runs fine, starts easy, no misfiring, no rough running. But after the plug change I am getting much worse millage.
Yesterday, I installed new spark plugs in my 2004 TJ. Going off [this thread](https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/what-are-the-best-spark-plugs-for-my-jeep-wrangler-tj-4-0.4196/) I purchased the Autolite XP985. Originally, I gapped the plugs to .04 based on [this thread](https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/spark-plug-gap-for-4-0.17415/). The jeep ran terribly and actually threw a check engine light.
I went back today and changed all the gaps to .035 based on the note under the hood, but I still think the idle is a bit rougher then what it was before the change.
I own one of these, and I couldn't have a lower opinion of Fords engineering (the 2v spits out spark plugs? lets "fix" it on the 3v and make it so they will never come out).
