If u can see leaks then yes u need new struts
Also while going over speed breakers u can notice if the car doesnt level out immediately but goes up n down 2-3 times before settling then u have bad struts

Black if you want original ride quality. Yellow if you want a stiffer ride but with better quality damping and you’re not price sensitive.
My yellow billys are awesome
Your Kia Sorento doesn't need the yellow B6/B8 struts. Lol. The black B4 will give you the original ride height and oem ride quality. The yellow ones are for performance.
Shocks, struts, and strut parts: I always recommend the premium option for suspension parts. The system actually says that subtly. Typically that's the KYB brand.
Well I had to get 2 new Koni struts for mine because I blew one out on a giant pothole over the summer, does that count?
Part brand reccomendations also welcome... looking at ACDelco for sway bar links and ball joints, Delphi for control arm bushings, Monroe quick struts. Mevotech any good for Hondas??
I bought a pair of front struts with the spring assembly , I thought I was getting the top shelf units KYB , put them on and they rattle called they said that it was normal , nope I don't think so
Replacement for 2 front struts in a Honda CRV 2005 was 1,645.00. Insane, had to fix ASAP as one leaking. Felt ripped off and last time go to my usual mechanic.
I replaced both front struts with Bilstein B4s EDC. I gained about an inch from stock ride height.
