How much did u port the head(or hav it ported) cuz i can still see all the cast marks in ur pics.They do look nice and uniform.

In addition to the suspension upgrade I have since retro fitted an Audi 5000 throttle body, well it's actually a Mk2 CIS with the WOT and closed throttle switches not being used. The piece is mated to a port matched intake manifold.

I was going to tell you to clean the throttle body for the idle problem, but it looks like you already did. It worked for me, but I had a lot of junk built up in the ICV. It took a couple weeks for the idle to come back down to normal.

VW found a problem with the throttle body and replaced that under a California emissions warranty, and I also did a trans flush. It shifts a lot better now, but still some weird shifts esp. between 2-3 and 6-5.
