My 2019 is at 110k. Other than maintenance items like tires, oil, spark plugs ect, the one thing I had to fix was the water pump at 97k. It's been flawless otherwise.
Owner reviews for water pump
I drive my 2017 everyday to work and just hitting 95k miles. I'm the only owner and the biggest issue has just been the water pump. It started to leak around 36k but otherwise had been sold.
Currently running a fvp, which is just a gmb, and it works great.
Just replaced the water pump on my 2010 A4 Quattro. Got it done in about 4 hours which I think is pretty good considering I've never replaced a water pump before.
It was the water pump went bad, it had leaked antifreeze all over the belt that runs it. The belt shredded and got tangled up in the other moving parts.
Welcome to the club of probably needing to replace your water pump & thermostat housing \ud83e\udee1
Got a new Febi one that is verified vacuum controlled, only to take it out the box to have it hold 0 vacuum at all! To add insult to injury they dared to put a “tested” sticker on the pump itself. Now I gotta return it, wait for a new one (or buy one at a markup) and pray its not defective either.
a febi one failed on me after only 20k km.
Get the OEM water pump, I had no luck with aftermarket Aishin. They leaked almost immediately.
My 2011 Jaguar XF. V8, RWD. loved that car, but looking at a 3rd water pump replacement sealed the deal for me. Love lost
