Brake pads Mintex or OEM KIA
After the warm up period I had the opportunity to really slam down on these things. wow. Quite grippy and doesn't seem to shift the weight to the front as much as the old stock brakes. The brakes do not pull to one side or the other as was common with my old warped stock stuff. Braking around corners is much more predictable partially due to the improved pedal modulation and feel. I've yet to track this setup, but I presume that it will do quite nicely. The slotting appears to eat my mintex redbox pads according to the abundance of brake pad particles stuck to my rims. Gonna have to keep an eye on it.
mintex here too !!!!!!!!!!
Mintex C-Tech
I had Mintex on my car since i did my G60 swap and they havent shrunk one bit. Ad im a hard driver. Almost 2 years and they still look new
i've had mintex redbox and pagid street compound (blacks) on mine so far. i would suggest mintex pads since they are more dustfree and aren't so bad for the rotors. alot of people on clubb5.com have gone with them and are happy.
performance friction brake pads all around, or mintex is good
I've got some Mintex to throw in there but I keep putting it off because the Bentley makes it sound like theres some complicated poop involved, I even bought the special tool does anyone have a link with an easier how-to on this?
i have the same complaint about my mintex red box pads, they are a bit noisy at times and they my like a rubbing/squeaking sound somtimes when i stop or roll a bit with my hand brake pulled up, but the dust is much less than it was so im kinda happy about that.
Not amazed by my mintex pads either but i havent tried anyhing else- all i can say is that i thought they would have made a bigger difference.
mintex red-box suck, you want a set, I'll give you mine. I have had mine for about a week they are ok for grandma style braking, but once you really get on them, you are srewed for an hour (of light braking).
