Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM Volvo
I have this set on my 19 accord going on a year and half around 25k miles zero issues with them.
Secondary Update. I ordered the matching PowerStop Z26 rears, and they also have no clunk and fit well! The pads feel meh until you bed them in. After that they feel great! Slightly less initial bite than OE, but the pedal is much more linear, making it easier to come to a smooth stop at lights. Overall for less than $100 for a front and rear set you\u2019d be hard pressed to find a better pad for daily duty plus a little fun on the side.
Power Stop Z36, it made my 02 F350 feel like my 2014 Mercedes.
Powerstop easily shortened my braking distance by 30%. 100% recommend.
I've been using Powerstop brakes for years, and haven't had any mechanical problems. My only issue (and this is a personal one) is that the thick rubber backing makes the pedal feel a bit spongy.
Happy to report that the Powerstop Z23 front pads don\u2019t shift at all. Very solid and tight in there!
I just did brakes with: Powerstop Evolution Sport, Drilled/Slotted Discs, Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Pad Part Kit#: P15K5305, Mach V Techna-Fit SS Lines, Motul DOT 4 fluid. All for under $600 and I’ve been very happy with this setup. I don’t track but drive spirited and they’ve performed flawlessly, and no more brake dust.
I put the Geomet coated Powerstop rotor and ceramic pad front and rear kits from RockAuto on my ‘14 XT. They work well and my speed demon wife liked them better than the originals.
I recently had the brakes done on my 2016 XC 60 by my long-term mechanic. It was all four corners with pads and rotors. He charged $1300 Canadian (950 USD).
I tried PowerStop rotors and pads - I will never use the pads again. They lasted 1/2 the time of any other pad.
