Oil filter Mann or Mobil
I have used the Mobil 1 ones in the olden times when they gave you extra rebate bucks for using one.
I've only ever used mann, I'm sure they both work! I'm going to stick with what I know is perfect though.
Lol - there is a torque spec on the factory oil caps now 32mm socket @ 25Nm is all it needs. And yes I use my torque wrench every time on it I Only use Mann or OEM filters from the dealership. Not had a collapse.
I buy two 5L jugs and a MANN filter from FCP euro and use their lifetime warranty.
I just go to Walmart or Costco and pick up 5W30 and a filter on ebay or amazon (mann). As long as it's LL01 approved oil, it'll treat your engine right.
I use mobile one, I buy at Walmart and use oem filters
For the oil filter mahle Mann or will do.
I run synth Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge 5W20, and a Mobil 1 filter, m1-110.
Changed yearly or if I hit the 16000-18000 km mark before that. I do change the filter every time instead of Honda's every other change interval recommendation.
Check oil level now and then.
Oil Changes are done every 7,500km (VW calls for 15,000km). Always done with Fuchs/Liqui Moly/Motul full synthetic oil (5W-40) and MANN filter.
I wanted to give you guys a little insight on my recent discovery. I have always changed my oil @ 10K miles, using mainly pentosin and Hengst or mann filters. On occasion when I don't have time to wait for oil to ship to me, I've used German Castrol and autozone filters (either STP, Fram or Mobil 1). The picture below is what my mobil 1 oil filter looked like after 9K miles w/ German Castrol. Mind you I have NEVER had a Hengst/Mann/Fram/STP look like this when changing my oil. Another tid bit of info, My oil was much blacker this oil change than it has ever been.
