Spark plug NGK or Denso
I used NGK at 100k miles and have been happy with them.
I installed Denso a few weeks ago.
Skip the genuine spark plugs and just get NGKs. And skip the genuine oil change kit and get pentosin if you wanna stay oe
7751 are the OEM plugs and rated for ~105k miles, give or take.
I like my NGKs a lot. Never had any issues with them and they perform well
Honestly I think NGK plugs are better. Either one does the same thing, but I've never heard of a bad NGK plug, even well beyond its normal useful life.
I stick with ngk iridium
NGK Ruthenium 95125.. I ran a set for 25k miles w/o issue on Stg 2 E85 tune.. their gap barely if at all budged.. probably could've kept using them.. ymmv.
I bought these when I did my last tune up and plug swap just to try. I noticed zero difference in power or mpg.
Now that I've done the job, I can't tell if it's just in my head but the car seems to have less power now. It was already a sluggish engine to begin with it but it feels like I need to floor it even more. Also, the gas mileage has dropped from 25 MPG to 22.5 MPG.
