Maxxis Tires

Maxxis or Michelin Wild Enduros. I use 2.4 Enduros coming from 2.3 high rollers. The Enduros just stick man, sideways.

Pros: just stick sideways

BFGOODRICH G-FORCE SPORT COMP-2 XL on a 2005 Cooper S. They’ve been on for 3 years and ~21k miles. Great tire, good wear pattern and I’ve rotated them 2x.

Pros: great tire, good wear
Vehicle: MINI
Mileage: 33796 km

I'm also currently running a MAXXIS Desert IT front tire on my KTM 1090 tubeless wheel without issue. Its a hard compound tire that is designed for the tough stuff, and I also recommend it.

Pros: designed for tough stuff

I also live in the Twin Cities and switched from the stock hankooks to BFG KO2s. Huge difference in the snow. I almost never had to switch into 4wd. Definitely would recommend them for around here.

Pros: huge difference in snow
Vehicle: Ford

The best blend of traction and longevity I've ridden so far is Maxxis Minions in the 60 compound. They held up to multiple days in Whistler Bike Park and were still in fine shape.

Pros: traction and longevity

When I picked up a set of wheels a few years ago, they had half life G-Force Comp-2 all seasons on them, so I just used those for half a season. 225/45/17 of those were quicker than 205/55/16 Hankook RS3 autocross tires that were probably heat cycled out but had tread left. Point is, those BFGs aren't terrible and the sidewall was stiff enough not to be rolling over.

Pros: stiff sidewall, not terrible

If you've got the OE supplied tires on ANY trailer, I'd make a VERY strong recommendation to swap them out for a reputable brand as soon as possible.

Pros: reputable brand
Cons: cheap junk tire
Mileage: 5000 km
