Tires Falken or Continental
UHP All Seasons are what your looking for. Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 or Continental DWS06+.
Happy with Falken WP4ATW, mostly road and 10% unservice trails (mtb shuttles). Low noise compared to other AT tires.
I've had Continental DWS06+ tires on my Passat for about 10,00 miles. Good all season tires, even light snow. Good tread wear, so far. Quiet. I'm happy.
After an absolute ton of research and talking to a lot of people, I decided on the Continental TerrainContact A/Ts. Compared to the stock destinations these tires have at least double the performance and grip in both snow and wet. They're a tiny bit louder on grooved surfaces, but it almost isn't noticeable. They feel a like the side walls are a little bit stiffer, which isn't a bad thing, but don't ride any harsher. Honestly, I'm very surprised at how much I like these tires.
My 2008 is350 on continental Dw06 extreme sport runs like a dream
I live in Chicago, so we get some good cold and winter conditions. I recently put Continental DWS06+ on my Giulia, they were great in the late summer, and have been great in the snow as well. I highly recommend them after a few months of use.
For a longer lasting summer tire you can check out the kumho ecsta sport S, Michelin pilot 4s, or Continental extremecontact sport 02.
I had that problem when I switched from the OEM Michelins on my Model 3 to the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires; I lost about 10% range.
I’ve ran the Falken Wildpeak M/Ts (315/75/16) for over a year now… love the look BUT I am about sick and tired of them. I like to overland & I do like to go to the snow often, which I have learned the hard way that these tires are not great for winter conditions. They are horrendously loud, cause a ton vibrations & are super heavy.
DWS all day I switched this time around and regretted. I’m going back after 15k miles.
