Tires MICHELIN or Continental
I have them on my Civic '16, and they are amazing for NYC. They handle hydroplaning really well too. They have a slightly higher hum compared to the Civic stock but it's really hard to notice especially in a loud city like NYC.
MPG did go down a bit but well worth the trade off for safety. They grip really well in wet conditions and shorten braking distance.
I recently purchased Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires for my wife’s 2018 CRV EX-L FWD and I have to say they are pretty stellar. Thus far we have put at least 2000 miles on them to include a 14 hour road trip. Excellent traction on wet roads and far superior to the Goodyear Assurance we had before. We have driven through a couple significant downpours and these tires have confidence on wet roads. As for the alleged noise complaints, I think they’re very quiet compared to the old tires. Rolling resistance/ MPG; no changes and I would have happily sacrificed a couple MPG for good traction in FWD vehicle.
I would go with Michelin Pilot A/S 4 if money isn’t a factor. They’re more expensive, but *excellent* all around tires.
I had to replace at 10k lol I ended up with Michelin CrossClimate2 CUV
Michelin. Pirelli too soft. Not durable prone to temp issues.
Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ is the answer you are looking for, but its not on your list. Best all-around performance all-season on the road. Great in the dry, the wet, and snow, warranteed to last 50K miles, and shouldn't break the bank.
Michelin are a great choice, I would choose the CrossClimate2. I understand tires are expensive, but Michelin tires maintain their performance when they get worn, whereas other brands drop off significantly.
I’ve bought ultra sports before on aliexpress, came with the box and is no diff visually and physically feeling it in comparison to my worn set. There’s no other way I can verify.
In terms of riding, feels the same as my previous set.
I didn't like the MXM4 that much and after 24k miles I had to replace them. I have really been enjoying some non LRR Continental, only hurt range 1%-3% and I can turn corners faster (and this feel safer in an emergency)
I hate my current set of DWS06, just got new set last week and car has been shaking like a one hour hotel room bed. 1 tire was showing a 40 on road force and could not be balanced. New one came in next day and car still vibrating 70 and above.
