Tires MICHELIN or Continental
I did upgrade the tires to a quieter Continentals, from the standard issue goodyear. Its quiet, smooth, comfortable on the 4800 mile trip I took.
I've run the DWS06 all seasons in winter with no problems.
I run continental viking contact 7s. love em.
I run Michelin X-Ice Snow winter tires. They grip really well, while not being so grippy that you can't do some snowy parking lot shenanigans lol.
DWS06+ is a great choice for A/S IMO. I think I prefer them over actual summers as a daily tire for summer as well: better tread life, better ride, nicely communicative, & plenty of grip for open road endeavors IME.
Michelin Platinums homerun for me! They have a great side profile similar to Pirelli but the tread is great and absolutley dead quiet and tight road performance...seen no problem in my limited off-road treks, tho longevity, highway manners and looks were my decision priorities.
Michelin Crossclimate 2 - Very good tyre
Cross Climate 2’s are quieter than the OEMs and are better in every measurable metric.
I bought Michelin x-ice stock size, stock alignment. I found it cut a lot of power from wheel spin on a dry warm day. They did handle well in bad weather.
I’m using the Continental 5000 TR S 32mm running tubeless.
Everytime I ride I get a puncture! It’s crazy and not sure why. I used one of the tire calculators and it has me at 68psi front, 70 rear.
Rode with a buddy couple weeks back who has the same tires and he got a puncture so bad on the rear it wouldn’t seal, we had to put a plug it.
I might try lowering the pressure and see what happens. Tires are new…
