Tires MICHELIN or Falken
Yes I just switched this weekend from the Pzero runflats to Michelin PS4S. So much better, way more comfortable over bumpy roads and better around corners too.
I went with the Falken Azenis RT615K+ on my Cabriolet. They look cool and stick like glue.
i love my Michelin Defender 2, they aren't the sportiest of tires, but darn are they great GT tires (decent economy) and have decent tread for dirt roads. Only down side is that tread does have the tendency to grab on to the smaller rocks that jettison off later down the road once you hit black top.
Michelin pilot road 6; you won't regret it.
I have the factory Michellin E. Primacy on my highland RWD and quite impressed. A good all round balance of wet and dry grip and efficiency. Not too far off the PS5 I had on my old car but I wouldn't track with them. Good enough to have confidence on the road though.
I absolutely love the Falken AT3, excellent on the highway with low noise, and great off road capabilities, ran them aired down to around 15psi in challenging terrain, even did great in snow.
I just Falken AT3’s on my X and have zero complaints. Nice and quiet and look good too!
I have them on my model 3. I think they are a tad quieter but small efficiency loss noticed. I mean minuscule. Have about 1200mi on them but enjoy it so far.
I switched from Road 4 to Road 6. I used both tires for around 2 years and 25,000 km, and went back to Road 4 (I wasn’t looking for Road 4, it was in stock and around %30 cheaper). In my experience, the cold grip on Road 4 is much better, and even after they heat up, Road 4 still feels like it has better grip. Additionally, I noticed that the bike pulled slightly to the left with Road 6.
I’m getting rid of my Falken Wildpeaks after 6,000 miles of misery. These tires will not balance and I’ve had rotational noise issues at highways speeds.
