Tires MICHELIN or Falken
Can't say enough good things about the CC2s. I do a lot of highway driving and they are rock solid in both cold and snowy weather.
Get michelin CC2. Excellent snow performance but you can also keep them on year around and expect 60k moles out of them.
If you can only afford one set of tires, get an all-weather set. Michelin CrossClimates are a good example.
Buy Michlin. Best money per mile. I ALWAYS get 90k+
I have Michelin PS A/S 4 on my STI and they are the best tires I've ever had. Wet traction and hydroplaning resistance was also much improved.
Michelin Primacy! Just changed my set from yokohama and the difference is evident.
The truck feels more stuck to the ground. Haven't had any issues one year into having them. Plan on getting another set of these next time.
Been using Michelin cross climate 2s for 3 winters. Been satisfied with the performance. previously used to do the all season and switch to dedicated winters which were nokian winters.
My wildpeak AT4Ws look great and offer really good grip on and off road. Bad ass tires. Cons are that they’re really heavy so MPG dropped from 24 to 18 highway, and the ride of the tire is pretty bumpy and uncomfortable, from what I understand it’s bc they are load E rated tires, for heavier full-size trucks so the taco can’t really offer the weight to squish the tire down to a comfortable ride. The MPG dropped was expected and I’m okay with it, but the bumpy ride is a bit disappointing. I would buy load C rated tires next
when you put all seasons on it i.e. Michelin CrossClimate, you will feel weird vibrations when driving above 60 miles.
