Overall, I really like the new wheel and tires, but I wouldn't say it's all upside either. The Michelins are just that much quieter and more comfortable (Granted the previous tires were nearing the end of their life, but they were always loud). I listen to the stereo 5-6 clicks lower than I used to as well. The grip is also far higher, and putting my right foot down mid corner no longer induces instant oversteer and spinning tires. It just hooks up and goes. It's still fun, but it definitely has changed the character of the car a fair bit. It's much more serious, and while I enjoy the added grip, there's certainly something to be said for what has been lost. On the bright side, when winter hits I'll get to have some more low(er) traction fun when I put the stock wheels back on.
I have Firestone Destination LE2s, and I haven't had much trouble driving in the snow with them. To be fair I haven't ever had snow tires, so I don't have much to compare to. If you have experience driving in the snow already, and drive slow you should be fine.
Michelin CrossClimate 2’s are quite amazing. I highly recommend them.
I previously had the OEM, Pirelli Scorpion tires which I liked. The Firestone Destination LE3 tires seems to be equivalent to them..

Recently I put Michelin Crossclimate+ XL’s on to replace my bald falkens.
My FIL just got rid of his stock goodyear wrangler tores at 45k miles and replaced them with Michelin all seasons. I used to have Michelin all seasons before I went to all terrain tires and the Michelins were great tires, just not meant to go off road.
I live in Calgary ????????. We are already in the dead of winter and we have Michelin Cross Climate on our 2021 Nissan Quashqui (Called Rouge Sport USA) Definitely better than “All Season” tires plus you can leave them on year round.
I've had quiet winter tires, to winter tires that roared (Firestone Winterforce)
I personally don't like Michelin tires. The rubber just feels cheap.
