Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli
I've got them on my CX-5 for about a year and a half now.
I've driven them in hot Cali Summers to Midwest winters. Have handled absolutely amazingly and are much quieter than the original tires.
Can't recommend them enough.
Michelin x ice have been great for me. On my second set.
I have bought these tires twice. They are the best tires I’ve ever owned however, beware they scream on concrete pavement.
Not bad at all. I have them on my Q5. This thing eats through tires and the CC2 have lasted the longest for sure.
I put these on my 2019 Highlander hybrid. 6k miles on them and love the wet and dry handling. I have dedicated blizzak winters but am going to run my cc2 this season as my blizzaks have 36k miles on them. Road trip soon that will include winter snow conditions. I will post how they handle. Also I did notice a 1.5~2 mpg drop in fuel economy.
I just got the Pirelli Scorpion AS plus 3 today and from the little experience I have, I’m very happy with them. Very quiet compared to the OEM Yokohamas that came on the 18” wheels.
Michelin CrossClimate2 are amazingly smooth and quiet. And they hardly wear at all. Over 20k on my set and they’ve only worn 1/32nd.
I don’t even live in a snowy environment but they are amazing in heavy rain. 70mph in heavy rain is easily doable
Another vote for the Pirelli AS Plus Scorpions. They compliment the CX9 very well. Great handling dry and wet. Good highway ride. Quiet and comfortable.
Michelin? So they’ll be good quality and cost twice as much as any other brand?
My Acura and GF’s Camry have Pirelli’s that we bought last year in April that are great. We bought a Highlander in November that had a set of new lauffen tires from Walmart. They have had 2 nails already. Bad luck, maybe. I’m convinced the tires are softer and more susceptible to damage.
